Empowering Women in Tech

--Breaking Barriers--

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT Logo

Zyntric Hub recently launched an initiative aimed at training young women in cutting-edge technologies...

We hosted an intensive 2-week bootcamp exclusively for women, introducing them to coding, data analytics, and entrepreneurship. Many participants have since launched their freelance careers and startups.

The program covered areas such as web development, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Over 100 participants benefited from hands-on sessions, mentorship programs, and real-life projects. Many graduates have already secured employment or started their own businesses, contributing to a stronger tech ecosystem.

How Amina Became a Data Scientist

When Amina first walked into Zyntric Hub’s training hall in early 2024, she had never written a single line of code. Raised in a small town where girls were often discouraged from pursuing tech careers, she had faced countless obstacles — cultural expectations, financial limitations, and self-doubt.

Through Zyntric Hub’s Women in Tech Empowerment Programme, Amina learned digital literacy, coding fundamentals, and eventually specialised in data science. She quickly excelled in data transfomation, data analysis and machine leaning using tools like python, sql and R.

Six months later, she was selected for an internship at a reputable ICT firm in Abuja, where she helped strengthen their digital infrastructure. Today, Amina works remotely for a multinational company, providing cybersecurity solutions to clients in Europe and Africa.

Corporate Cybersecurity Training Workshop

CYBERSECURITY WORKSHOP Logo

Zyntric Hub partnered with local organizations to deliver intensive cybersecurity awareness training...

It all started on a bright Monday morning when professionals from different industries trooped into Zyntric Hub’s modern training space, some with laptops tucked under their arms, others with notepads, all eager to learn how to protect their organizations in today’s fast-changing digital world.

For weeks, we had been preparing for this Corporate Cybersecurity Training Workshop — customizing modules to suit bankers, healthcare workers, educators, and even SMEs. The excitement in the air was electric.

The training covered phishing prevention, password management, and network security best practices. Participants reported increased confidence in managing their digital security both at work and at home.

HAKATHON

From the very first session, our lead facilitator, Engr. John Eze (Cybersecurity Specialist with over 12 years of industry experience), broke down complex security threats into simple, relatable terms. He shared real stories of companies losing millions due to phishing scams and weak passwords — stories that made everyone sit up straight.

“I never knew something as simple as a careless email click could bring down an entire network. This training opened my eyes.” – Grace, IT officer at a financial firm

  • Over three days, participants were immersed in hands-on sessions:
  • Learning how to detect and respond to phishing emails,
  • Setting up firewalls and multi-factor authentication,
  • Practicing incident response through simulated cyberattacks, and
  • Building a cybersecurity culture within their organizations.

The turning point came on Day 2 during the Red Team/Blue Team Simulation. The “Red Team” launched a mock cyberattack while the “Blue Team” defended their system in real time. The room was buzzing with energy, laughter, and “aha!” moments as participants realized how teamwork and vigilance can stop an attack before it escalates.

By the end of the workshop, every participant left with more than just knowledge. They left with confidence. Many shared how they were going back to review their organization’s security policies, update staff awareness, and strengthen their IT infrastructure.

“This is the best corporate training I’ve ever attended. Zyntric Hub made cybersecurity practical, not theoretical.” – Ahmed, HR Manager, TechFirm Ltd.

HAKATHON ---

Data Analysis Bootcamp Success

--Breaking Barriers Through Data: The Zyntric Hub Bootcamp Experience--

HAKATHON

Our recent Data Analysis Bootcamp brought together aspiring analysts from across the country...

When Zyntric Hub announced its first-ever Data Analysis Bootcamp, we expected a modest turnout. Instead, our registration portal was flooded within 72 hours. Over 250 young professionals and students applied, but only 80 were carefully selected to join this intensive 4-week journey into the world of data.

From the very first day, the energy in the room was electrifying. Participants arrived with laptops in hand, curiosity in their eyes, and the determination to learn skills that could change their careers forever. Some had zero background in data; others were accountants, entrepreneurs, and fresh graduates looking for an edge in the job market.

Participants worked on real datasets, learning Excel, Power BI, and Python. The bootcamp was designed to be hands-on and practical. Instead of long, boring lectures, we plunged participants straight into real-life datasets—from sales records of local businesses to health statistics that mirrored real-world challenges. Within the first week, students had mastered Excel for analytics, uncovering patterns in rows and columns they once considered “just numbers.”

HAKATHON

By week two, the class was buzzing with excitement as they built interactive dashboards in Power BI. Watching their faces light up when they saw data transform into colorful charts and graphs was priceless. Some whispered to their neighbors:

“So this is what companies use to make big decisions!”

But the highlight came in week three when Python was introduced. Many thought coding was impossible for them—“too technical,” some feared. Yet, guided step by step, participants wrote their first lines of code, cleaned messy data, and even ran basic predictive models. One participant, Blessing, a recent graduate in business administration, exclaimed:

> “I never imagined I’d write code that could analyze thousands of records in seconds. This is like magic!”

HAKATHON

The grand finale was a hackathon challenge. Teams were given a messy, unstructured dataset from a retail company struggling with declining sales. In just 48 hours, participants cleaned, analyzed, and presented their findings to a panel of judges from partner organizations. The results were nothing short of spectacular.

One team discovered that sales dipped drastically on rainy days, recommending a strategy for online promotions during such periods. Another group showed that a small set of customers (just 20%) was responsible for nearly 70% of the company’s revenue—a finding that completely changed the business’s marketing strategy.

The winning team’s dashboard was so impressive that a small business owner in attendance requested to adopt their model immediately. By the time certificates were handed out, the transformation was visible. What started as a room full of curious learners had become a community of confident data storytellers, problem-solvers, and innovators.

For Zyntric Hub, the bootcamp was not just about training; it was about unlocking potential. Several graduates have since landed data-related roles, while others have started freelancing projects that are earning them income.

The success of this Bootcamp marked a defining achievement for Zyntric Hub—a proof that with the right environment, tools, and mentorship, young people can rise to global standards in technology.

Local Business Go Digital

HAKATHON Logo

When Makurdi Fresh Foods, a local organic produce store, approached Zyntric Hub in early 2025, their sales were limited to walk-in customers. They had no online presence and struggled to reach a wider audience.

Our team conducted a business analysis, designed a professional e-commerce website, set up social media marketing campaigns, and trained their staff on managing online orders. We also implemented a simple data analytics dashboard to track sales and customer behaviour.

Within three months, Makurdi Fresh Foods reported a 65% increase in revenue and began receiving orders from customers in Lagos, Abuja, and even neighbouring countries.

For Zyntric Hub, this was more than a project — it was a testament to how digital transformation can empower local businesses to compete globally.
